Anatoly Buchelnikov 


Anatoly Buchelnikov graduated from Faculty of Radioelectronics of Sevastopol State University in 2010 and obtain MSc on Biophysics. He defended PhD entitled “Development of the theory of interceptor-protector action in the joint binding of biologically active compounds with DNA” in 2015. The area of expertize includes but not limited to molecular biophysics, chemical physics, statistical thermodynamics, mathematical modeling and bioinformatics. Starting from November 2017 A. Buchelnikov works at the Theodosius Dobzhansky Center for Genome Bioinformatics as a postdoctoral fellow. The main task is to optimize database of M. tuberculosis genome variants.
