Mikhail Babich

I graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Novosibirsk National Research University in 2017 and specialized at the Department of Information Biology. Master’s work was carried out at the Federal Research Center of the Institute of Cytology and Genetics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the theme: “Mathematical modeling of transitional states of embryonic stem cells using modern data of full genomic sequencing of RNA” (supervisor, Ph.D. R. Akberdin). Since 2017, is a graduate student of St. Petersburg State University (St. Petersburg State University).

The main scientific interests in the Dobzhansky Center of genome bioinformatics are associated with medically significant mutations of the human genome and the search for genomic markers associated with the clinical and microbiological characteristics of Mycobacterium tuberculosis using bioinformatic approaches.
