Research Project Portals

Igor Evsyukov

I am junior researcher at the Theodosius Dobzhansky Center for Genome Informatics. My current research is focused on developing Haplotype Map for Ethnic Russian population for the Genome Russia project.

I graduated from the Saint Petersburg State University with a Master’s degree in Genetics in June 2015. My Master’s thesis “Searching for genes involved in CEA-producing colorectal cancer cells metastasis using RNA-sequencing method” was part of “Metastatic Cancer Transcriptome Gene Expression Profiling using RNA-Sequencing technology” project in Theodosius Dobzhansky Center for Genome Informatics.

I completed with honors my Bachelor degree at the Department of Genetics and Biotechnology, Faculty of Biology, Saint Petersburg State University in 2013. My investigation “Development and optimization methods for methylation analysis of gene promoter regions associated with pregnancy complications” was performed at the laboratory of Prenatal Diagnosis of Congenital and Inherited Diseases in The D.O. Otto Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
