Eugeny Bakin


I graduated from Computer Science department of Saint-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI) in 2008. In 2012, I defended my PhD thesis in specialty “System analysis, control and data processing”.

My area of research includes statistics, combinatorics, graph theory and computer simulations applied to biological and medical tasks solution. Currently I conduct lectures and seminars at Bioinformatics institute and SUAI. My papers list includes 11 publications indexed in Scopus and 13 papers in scientific journals included in VAK list (Higher Attestation Commission in Russia).

In Dobzhansky Center for Genome Bioinformatics I am engaged in a project devoted to assembly and annotation of highly heterozygous genomes of Brassicaceae genus.
