The International Feline Retrovirus Research Symposium (IFRRS)

The IFRRS is a bi-annual conference organized since 1991 alternating in the US and in Europe which brings together renowned experts from the international scientific community who study feline retroviruses and related topics and employ feline models of retroviral research. The symposium (Aug 26-29, Leinzig, Germany) focuses on the latest advances in genomics, immunology, and infectious disease as well as gene therapy, anti-viral therapy and vaccine development from the perspective of feline health and the potential translational applications to human health. First RECOMB Satellite Conference on Open Problems in Algorithmic Biology

The First RECOMB Satellite Conference on Open Problems in Algorithmic Biology (RECOMB-AB) will be held August 27-29, 2012 in St. Petersburg, Russia. This workshop brings together leading researchers in the mathematical, computational, and life sciences to discuss current challenges in computational biology, with an emphasis on open algorithmic problems. The program will consist of invited speakers, contributed speakers, posters, and discussion panels.
